Their pricing is at:
“First 10,000 minutes free, EVERY month.” – but that will be for our account, not for each individual Client Project.
The pricing varies on quality, mins used etc.
Cost = Video pricing × video service minutes (video charges) + Audio pricing × audio service minutes (audio charges).
Note: If a user successfully subscribes to both audio and video at the same time, then Agora only charges for the video service.
Service minutes (accurate to seconds), are calculated from a user joining a channel to the user leaving the channel.
Note: The video calls are 1-to-1, and so a 5 mins call would be 5 mins for EACH person, i.e. 10 mins.
Audio is charged at just $0.99 per 1,000 minutes, but that only comes into play if the user doesn’t use video
Video is charged at $3.99 per 1,000 minutes for a “HD” stream, $14.99 per 1,000 mins for a “HD+” stream.
We are using the “HD” stream.
Example
For the above, this is how I think a real world example might look, although until we start using it we may not know for sure.
Client organises 100 video interviews a month, each interview lasts on average for 15 mins.
100 x 15 x 2 (as two people per interview) = 3,000 mins per month.
3,000 x $3.99/1,000 = $11.97 ~ £9.00 per month.
