Q:        Can I restrict which companies see my details when I am job hunting?

A:         Yes, to hide your information from a specific company on the app go to Settings > Your Settings > Hide my profile from and follow the instructions on screen

Q:        Where do I find my Saved Vacancies?

A:         Go to your main Menu > Saved Jobs

Q:        What is the difference between ‘Saved Jobs’ and ‘My Jobs’?

A:         ‘Saved Jobs’ are vacancies you have highlighted, but not applied for. ‘My jobs’ are vacancies you have either started an application or submitted an application for

Q:        How do I change my mobile number?

A:         To change your mobile number, go to Settings > My Profile > Email & Phone and follow the instructions on screen

Q:        How do I change my email address?

A:         To change your email address, go to: Settings > My Profile > Email & Phone and follow the instructions on screen

Q:        How do I update my personal details?

A:         To change your personal settings, go to: Settings > My Profile > Personal Details and follow the instructions on screen

Q:        How do I delete my personal details?

A:          To delete your personal details and NexJobs Account, go to: Settings > My Profile > Delete My Account and follow the instructions on screen

Q:        Do I need to complete all of my Profile?

A:         You do not need to complete all of your profile, however a complete profile will be sent with your application and gives the Recruitment Teams a full overview of you as a potential employee. If you do not provide all of the information as part of your application, you may be asked to complete this at a later date as part of the application process.

Q:        How do I sign up to job alerts?

A:         Simply go into the Menu area > Settings > My Settings > Alerts and set your preferences

Q:        Why have I recieved ‘Anniversary Reminder’ Email from an old application?

A:         The NexJobs App is linked to GeniusATS, which means that when you previously applied for a vacancy your details were passed onto the third party to be processed and remain on that database. To comply with GDPR legislation, you must be informed that your information exists on the third parties database and be given a choice to remain, or to have your personal and any application information anonymised if this is no longer relevant.

You cannot remove any data that has been passed to the third party via the NexJobs App. You must follow the links in the email and select your preference to remain or delete your account.

To do this, you will need to use the ‘Forgotten Password’ function in the login area with the email address associated with your application and you will be sent a new link via email. Follow the onscreen instructions.

Q:        How should I add my Skills into my profile?

A:         Your skills will be matched when hiring managers search for Talent, so if you add skills such as: Management, C#, Team Leader, Analytics, Data, Supervisor, PrinceII, Examiner, Driver, HVC1 and so on these will be picked up.

Q:        Where do I see my Notifications?

A:         To view your notifications, go to: Settings > My Settings > Alerts

A:         To view the T&C’s, go to: Settings > My Settings > Terms and Conditions

Q:        How do I apply for a job?

A:         Click on the vacancy to view the information and if you wish to apply, click [Apply] and follow the instructions

Q:        How do I find my appointments?
